Challenged with sourcing furnishings that wouldn’t be dwarfed by the 15′ ceilings in this new build, Juaneice, of La Casa Azul, took on this design project with zeal. One glimpse at the photos by Ryan Garvin will give you warm and snuggly feelings that only a talented designer can deliver in a spacious abode such as this one. Perfect for cozying up in quiet or entertaining myriad guests (and their furry companions), this home delivers on all fronts.
From the designer… This project started with a hardworking tech executive and a need for their space to be pulled together, tailored and simple. It began in one direction but the design needed to be honed and planned so the client could have both a retreat and a place to host and entertain guests. The goal was to create a light and bright color palette that would be a neutral backdrop for day-to-day life.
Everything had to be livable, breathable, pet friendly, and great for entertaining. We had our objectives and got to work! We created a place that was neutral but not bland, simple but not plain. It was the classic California casual vibe we all love, with pale blue at the center. So La Casa Azul, so we were up for it!
