Set against the picturesque backdrop of Clear Creek, Nevada, this family home exudes elegance and sophistication with itd chic, transitional design. Thoughtfully created by KTG Design and photographed by Steph Russo, the home reflects the unique needs of a family of five, with personalized spaces crafted for both gathering and retreat. From a 14-foot kitchen range wall that anchors the heart of the home to thoughtfully arranged entertaining areas, every detail was designed to enhance connection and comfort.

From the designer… The objective of this project was to design a sophisticated, chic, and elegant residence for a family of five. As a family that loves to host and entertain friends and relatives, it was essential to create key spaces for both adults and children to enjoy. To meet these priorities, the home was meticulously designed from both architectural and interior design standpoints. The great room and dining room are arranged around the kitchen island, the heart of the main living space, to create a seamless flow for entertaining and conversation. With its 14-foot-long range wall, gathering island, and sprawling appliance wall, the kitchen sets the tone for the entire home.

This home features a magazine-ready primary wing with a cascading Grigio Armani Marble fireplace façade and a microtopping finish that extends to the ceiling. The primary bath continues this luxurious theme with marble and microtopping finishes, complemented by natural, handmade zellige tiles, creating a harmonious and elegant space.

Children and adults can entertain separately in dedicated wings of the house — the rec room for the kids and “The Ranch” for the adults. This thoughtful design ensures that every family member and guest have spaces tailored to their needs and enjoyment.
