With a new tile pattern around every corner and a neverending supply of textiles just begging to be touched, this home is cozy, eclectic, and downright swoon-worthy. From the designer… A Young family from Manhattan purchased a five-bedroom home in The Moorings, Naples FL during the height of the pandemic. They wanted a complete design renovation of their outdated Mediterranean style home. They found Ashley, whose studio is located in Winter Park, through Instagram. After an initial meeting via Zoom, the partnership commenced and started with a clean slate for a top-to-bottom redesign. Ashley’s vision for their home was light, bright and family-friendly. She began with a color palette of mostly neutrals and shades of blue. The palette was created to modernize and brighten up the home. We designed the home to be family-friendly for young kids and guests with furniture upholstered in easy-to-clean Crypton fabric. Part of creating a more timeless look meant keeping the design intimate with a modernized updated feel. Our biggest challenge was product development slowed down during the pandemic, our team learned to thrive in constrained situations like this. Our end result in four short months of a miracle was a beautiful timeliness family-friendly home.
