From the designer… Welcome to the Lake Brome project, a family cottage where warm summers are spent enjoying the lake and winters are spent by the slopes. This family is always hosting family and friends and needed a much larger entertaining space, specifically in the kitchen. With an added extension to the front of the home, we re-designed the floor plan layout completely to allow a much larger kitchen.
In this design, sleek modernity meets cozy warmth in perfect harmony. Stepping into this renovated kitchen, you’re immediately greeted by an inviting atmosphere that seamlessly blends contemporary design elements with cottage accents.
The color palette sets the tone, with a combination of warm neutrals and earthy tones dominating the space. Soft beige cabinets provide a subtle backdrop, while rich wooden cabinets add depth and character. The cabinets, with their clean lines and minimalist hardware, exude modern sophistication while still maintaining a sense of warmth.
The centerpiece of the kitchen is a large island that features a sleek quartz countertop with subtle veining, offering ample workspace for meal preparation and casual dining. Its warm wood base provides a striking contrast to the cool elegance of the countertop, creating visual interest and a sense of balance.
