The Home Industry's Top Experts & Creatives

This modern transitional Atlanta home was built with a growing family in mind. All of the materials and furnishings we’re chosen to accommodate little people and family gatherings. Emily Del Bello Interiors designed their coffee table to provide ample seating and surface for family to gather around while enjoying time together. See how this home caters to the family within by taking a peek at the photos by Mali Azima below.

From the designer… Our client was a young family. Their family is growing and it was so fun to create a home that they will be able to grow into. When we built-in the house they had a daughter. By the end of the construction they already had to change the use of one of the bedrooms to a nursery for their new baby boy!

The client wanted their home to feel transitional and natural. Textiles and fabrics were important as they have young kids. Our firm is always putting fibers first and making sure our spaces look designed but also incredibly functional for families to live in for years to come. They also wanted as many built-ins and storage units added throughout with simple details to make them stand out to be different. Our client wasn’t afraid of using color, so it was super exciting to get to do a standout kitchen. The kitchen is the heart of the home and getting to paint it green made it feel that much more special and unique.

The husband is a major football fan, so it was so important to be able to maximize the seating in the family room for enjoying games together. That’s how the “Hannah” coffee table was added to our line. We created this coffee table and ottoman combination. Soon our clients began asking about this table and it’s now our most requested item.

This project is, obviously, based in Atlanta, while we are based in NYC, so the physical distance was a challenge. We kept in constant communication with the homeowner who was able and willing to do site visits for us. We did fly down and make some visits, which we found to be even more productive than when you know you can visit multiple times! We accomplished so much in those designated meetings that it made up for the lack of consistent in-person visits.
