Today, they’re kindly inviting us into one of their latest projects—a Phoenix abode with a style mix of transitional, modern and rustic with a little touch of boho. It feels light and airy, yet serves up a dose of moody beauty. The best of both worlds! Rennai Hoefer documented the abode perfectly, soak it all in below.
From Blissful Design Studio… This project was a flip remodel in a historic neighborhood of Phoenix. The living room, laundry room, primary bedroom, and bathroom were all added to this home. Not only did we add a lot of square footage, but we also made this home as functional as it could be for the new homeowners. I had so much fun designing this home and the aesthetic of it is all of my favorite things—neutral, textural, warm, and inviting. The finishes in the home are all neutral in varying shades of white, black, and gray. And we used the art, rugs, and accessories to bring in some small pops of color and all the beautiful layers and texture. The accessories are a mixture of new and vintage pieces, which helps add character even with all of the new and updated finishes. I wanted everyone who walked in the front door to feel like this could be their home—a place that was comfortable and inviting—and I feel like we did just that!
