This Italian villa, tucked away in the scenic hills of Montecito, has been transformed into a serene, light-filled retreat by Jodi Fleming Design. Once defined by dark tones and Tuscan influences, the home now reflects a breezy Santa Barbara aesthetic, blending modern elegance with the client’s love for nature, travel, and family. Captured through the lens of Lisa Romerien, the remodel breathes new life into the property, offering a welcoming escape designed for both relaxation and connection.

From the designer… Our client wanted to create a California Oasis for their families to enjoy. We wanted to move away from the dark heavy tuscan influence of the original home. The idea was to transform it into a light Santa Barbara sanctuary. The home underwent an extensive remodel to bring the structure and it’s grounds back to life. Jodi Fleming Design’s goal was for the home to reflect our clients love of nature, travel and family; the home was meant to feel like a welcomed escape.
