Domestic Studio has created a most enchanting home to be. Laden with soft, natural, and enduring materials, this home was intentionally designed to integrate into her clients’ daily routines. From the designer… This home is a marriage of old world charm and modern livability—a truly sensory experience of natural, enduring materials like solid oak, wool carpets, linen textiles, and a curation of metal finishes. Inspired by the muted tones of natural landscapes, we chose soft, airy, and warm hues, utilized with intentionality to complement the architecture.

Natural materials can be found throughout the home, from marble counters to slate floors. We took organic and straight forward materials and arranged them in artful ways for a modern look that’s rooted in classic design. For instance, the primary bathroom features slate tiles in two sizes arranged in a unique pattern for an unexpected look.

Our overall design is, in a word, intentional. Each element was curated with our clients’ daily rituals in mind. We chose durable and high-quality furnishings and finishes that are ideal for family life and entertaining guests of all ages. What sets our work apart is the time and intention we put toward understanding the values, routines, and aspirations of our clients. We believe these should be the foundation of every decision and element that makes up their home.
