Rooted in a warm mountain vernacular, the residence blends stone, wood, and soft plaster finishes to create an environment that feels both enduring and deeply inviting. Expansive windows frame sweeping forest views, while exposed beams and layered textures bring intimacy to the home’s generous, open volumes.
The heart of the home lies in its gathering spaces. A dramatic great room anchored by a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace sets the tone, while adjacent living and dining areas flow seamlessly to accommodate entertaining across generations. The kitchen balances contrast and warmth through dark-stained cabinetry, honed stone surfaces, and aged brass accents, creating a space that feels both functional and elevated. Throughout, moments of softness emerge in a tucked-away breakfast nook, richly layered bathrooms, and thoughtfully scaled vignettes that invite pause.
