Photographed by Muriel Silva Photography, this inviting home captures the charm of a space designed to bridge two beloved places. Carrier Design Co. crafted a thoughtful blend of Texas warmth and Florida ease—pairing rustic details like reclaimed wood beams with a breezy, coastal palette that feels both elevated and effortless.

From Carrier Design Co.… This home was such a special project. Our clients were from Texas, so they requested a home that felt like a combination of Florida and Texas. To achieve this look, we used natural textures such as a stone fireplace and reclaimed wood beams, along with a coastal color palette. Throughout the home, you will find a balance of neutral colors with beautiful shades of blue and green. This renovation and addition moved almost every wall in the house. A little fun fact is that the dining room is the only room whose four walls remained the same. With all renovations, we did encounter a few areas where we had to pivot from the original plans. The final result included hidden storage and a built-in reading nook, and couldn’t be happier with how the space came together.
