From Candace Plotz Design… Set on a breathtaking stretch of waterfront, this project is a complete interior reimagining of a cherished home. Designed for longtime clients who returned to us to bring new life to their family property, this two-year renovation was both a technical and creative undertaking. What began with low ceilings, structural hurdles, and a disjointed layout became an opportunity to craft something entirely new. We restructured the interior from the ground up, creating a cohesive flow and an elevated sense of ease throughout. More than just a renovation, this project reflects a deep respect for place, memory, and the quiet luxury of thoughtful design. River Haven now lives up to its name: a peaceful, refined retreat made for gathering, unwinding, and simply being home.
