When work began on this Delray Beach house McCall’s clients wanted to give their home a relaxed and modern feel. By integrating clean lines with tons of texture Interiors by McCall delivered a swanky beach retreat her clients and their extended family can enjoy. Take a tour through these incredible photos by Tina Blanco to see how it all came together.
After purchasing a fully furnished unit next door, my clients came to me to design their home, which they planned to use as a summer beach house for their children and grandchildren.
They wanted to make the space a beautiful coastal retreat for their family members, but to keep the design more contemporary to match the modern finishes throughout. Balancing coastal and modern can sometimes create a challenge, but we incorporated beautiful textures with funky patterns throughout to give the space that coastal feel while still respecting the architecture.
A gorgeous townhome spread across three floors, we worked on furnishing the house from top to bottom. For the downstairs living and dining room, we stuck with bright whites mixed with black, leather and some mud cloth textured pillows. On the second floor, we designed the primary suite and children’s bunk room. The third floor holds a guest bedroom, a joint office/kid’s craft space, and a second living room/bar area.
