When dreaming up the idea for The List on Haven, I knew Bria Hammel would have to be one of the first to represent this beautiful little community. Not only is she an incredibly talented designer, she’s driven to pursue any amazing ideas that live in her head (have you seen her new shop Brooke & Lou?!). The homes she designs and styles are happy, thoughtful, and full of charm and personality. That couldn’t be truer than it is for today’s tour of the Casco Avenue project. With a Mediterranean influence, the loveliest curves and neutrals take center stage. And with every new image, I’m starting to wish that Bria would design my own dream home someday. Read on for a bit of background about this house, the entire team that made it possible and gorgeous scenes captured by Spacecrafting.

DATE COMPLETED: Fall 2017
OVERALL AESTHETIC: Traditional / Mediterranean / Modern
From Bria Hammel Interiors… This Minneapolis neighborhood has a long history in the community. Originally developed in 1924, the area is on the National Register of Historic Places. Being included on the Register comes with strict rules you must abide by when remodeling or re-building a home. This lot happened to be the last home allowed to be torn down in the neighborhood. Less than 5% of homes in this 14 block neighborhood have been completely torn down! Needless to say we were very lucky to be able to work on this home as part of this neighborhoods rich history. The home was designed with a classic Mediterranean influence for the traditional neighborhood.
