This year is turning out to be a beaut in the design world so far and when it comes to ‘trends’, there are few that we are SO on board with. Ones that could live in any decade and still rock a room. Today, we’re sharing some of those timeless design elements that are currently rising to the top, along with our very favorite picks from McGee & Co. because (in case you missed it!) they are having a major Buy More, Save More sale and just released loads of gorgeous new arrivals. Don’t walk, run my friends!

Trend #1: Terracotta

Meet the sophisticated sister of pink. There’s something so comforting about the earthy tones of terracotta, isn’t there? It pairs strikingly with bone, rattan and obviously, greenery to boot. McGee & Co. has a few items in their new arrivals that check off this box and make for a subtle, yet satisfying trend.

Trend #2: Rich Blue Hues

Dark, rich hues are back in a big way, but don’t for a second think that neutrals are going anywhere any time soon! A clean canvas makes way for contrast and deep blues like ink and indigo are taking center stage. Case in point… this luxe blue leather sofa styled up by Studio McGee. A piece that will surely become even more beautiful with age and be a conversation piece for years to come.

Trend #3: Natural Wood Tones

We’re alll about the wood tones popping up in design more recently (we even have this raw wood desk in our own office!). The Lainey Adjustable Desk shown here is also a showstopper—so lovely paired with this cane back chair. And it doesn’t stop at furniture… wood tones are making an appearance in decor and kitchen accessories, as well.

It’s no surprise that all three of these design elements pair beautifully together, too. Will you be incorporating any/all into your home or design projects this year? If you want to take advantage of the McGee & Co. sale, here are the deets: Save 15% when you spend $150+, 20% when you spend $500+, and 25% when you spend $1,000+! Offer ends 11:59 pm (PT) on 2/24/19.
