With the architectural vision set by Brandon Architects and interiors shaped by Studio McGee, this Cabo San Lucas home fuses the romance of Spanish hacienda architecture with a fresh, contemporary voice. Carved into the coastal bluffs of Maravilla Los Cabos, the design unfolds through dramatic stone archways, intimate courtyards, and sweeping views that anchor the house between mountains and sea.

From Brandon Architects… This modern masterpiece takes old-world detailing and tells a new story through a contemporary lens. Carved out of the coastal bluffs of the coveted community of Maravilla Los Cabos on the coast of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the hacienda announces itself with a grand stone archway and courtyard fountain that establish a sense of arrival. Here, wooden accents and clay roofs juxtapose the expansive glazing systems to maximize the views and the architecture. Wooden overhanging beams, for example, work to direct one’s eye to the rugged landscape and panoramic ocean views, as the hacienda is nestled between mountains and sea. An interiors program of warm, modern furnishings and clean interior architectural lines—even the archways are smooth and precise—contemporize rustic details like natural stone surfaces.
