From Treasure in the Detail… The journey of this home was a long one, but truly worth the wait. Aptly named #WorthTheWaitProject, the clients had dreamed of building a home rooted in a neighborhood close to family. While other original lots didn’t pan out, patience led them to the perfect location, and from that moment, the vision for their long-awaited home began to take shape. What started as a complete tear-down and rebuild evolved into a stunning, thoughtfully designed residence meant to be enjoyed for many years to come.
The design direction centered around a neutral, elevated palette—timeless, refined, and effortlessly livable. Soft European influences were woven throughout the home through the use of natural stone, warm woods, and rich textures. Layers of natural materials and classic tones create a cohesive story of warmth and sophistication. Elevated details abound, from box molding surrounding the iron staircase entry to medium-tone wood flooring, marble accents, and statement lighting throughout.

The kitchen stands as the heart of the home—designed for gathering and entertaining—with rift white oak cabinetry, dual statement islands, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, box-beam ceilings, a Taj Mahal quartzite hood, and iron glass cabinets that anchor the space with elegance. The pantry and prep kitchen extend the beauty of the main kitchen with warm white cabinetry, marble flooring, and custom wood shelving.

The primary suite exudes serenity, with exposed beams, marble flooring, dual vanities, including a dedicated makeup space, an oversized shower, a freestanding tub, and a beverage fridge with custom cabinetry for a touch of everyday luxury.

From conception to completion, this home was a testament to patience, collaboration, and vision. Every stage—from early architectural planning to final installation—was marked by thoughtful communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to excellence. While the process took time and presented its share of challenges, every moment contributed to a remarkable result. The clients’ dream of a refined yet welcoming family home was realized, and today, they are finally enjoying the home that was, in every sense, worth the wait.
