From the designer… This project began in 2020 as a new-build spec home for a builder in the highly desirable area of Corona Del Mar. It was our second build in this community, and we knew we could make an impact by creating a large-scale home that still felt cozy and inviting. We achieved this through the use of rich textures, including plaster, zellige tiles, and dark stained cabinetry with a mix of blackened and aged brass.

We expanded the square footage by adding a subterranean level, nearly doubling the size to just under 8,000 square feet. The home offers unobstructed ocean views, a multi-car garage, an elevator, a game room, a workout room, a sauna, wine storage, and expansive living spaces. Although it was a spec home, our focus was on making sure it felt both impactful and beautiful.

Ultimately, the home sold for $18 million. Who could resist the sweeping ocean views, luxurious details, and thoughtfully crafted spaces that make this property truly one-of-a-kind?
