Heath Interiors beautifully captured the Spanish Revival essence in this newly renovated home. Pairing the laidback transitional style that California design is so well known for with thoughtful vintage pieces, Chloe gave this home an update that feels fresh, yet somehow, like it’s been this way forever. Take a tour of this marvelous space below.
From the designer… This project included the renovation and redecoration of a 1920s Spanish home based in Los Feliz, California. In each room, the home’s original architectural features were the initial inspiration for our design approach. In the kitchen, we made a point to keep the original casement windows, even though that meant relocating them to work with our new layout. Decorative stained and rondel glass in the dining room gave us a color palette and shape inspiration that inspired the artisan-made and vintage furniture and lighting we chose. In the powder room, vintage Italian glass sconces and reclaimed brick flooring paired well with the original double-vaulted ceiling.
