Mandy Graham Interiors has created one of the most zen home’s we come across to date. Small nods toward art deco create comforting surroundings while sweeping arches establish a sanctuary feel. Brought together these elements evoke a warm and luxurious quiet, one that encourages soft slipped steps and calming tones. See how she did it in the photos below.
From the designer… Texture, material, and form unite to create this architectural masterpiece, offering four bedrooms and three and a half baths in 3,560 square feet of refined living space. Minimal yet lavish and remodeled in 2019 by the venerable Mandy Graham, this home presents an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance within its plaster walls. Custom-milled European oak flooring, travertine window and arch boxes, integrated storage and soaring ceilings create a warm minimalism.
The first-floor composition includes the formal living room opening onto the front courtyard, surrounded by olive and cherry laurel trees and bathed in sunshine. A custom travertine media cabinet cleverly disguises its component and is indicative of the creative storage solutions found throughout. The epicurean kitchen features a 13.5-foot travertine and Neolith composite island, an integrated Liebherr refrigerator/freezer, dual Gaggenau ovens, and custom brass fixtures.
Upstairs, bedrooms with pocket arch doors and a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a striking Rosa del Monte marble vanity and tub are offered, as well as an additional bedroom/office with a full bath. The tranquil owner’s suite provides integrated storage and a spa-like bath.
Every inch of this home has been carefully crafted to evoke a modern sanctuary, and with a location central to all that Manhattan Beach has to offer, this residence presents the opportunity to own a genuine work of art.
