Inspired by a famous kitchen, this Toronto remodel came together with careful consideration. Jessica Kelly included metallic mesh pantry doors and eclectic details to personalize this kitchen for her clients. Valerie Wilcox beautifully captured this space, take a peek in the photos below.
From the designer… Our clients came to us with the goal of updating and opening up the entire back portion of their house. The ever-popular EyeSwoon kitchen was my clients’ inspiration for the kitchen. Careful to add our own spin to the design, we added rich elements, like the combination of wood and wire mesh to the pantry. The project started at the height of the pandemic but we were nonetheless working with a tight deadline as our clients were expecting a baby that coming spring.
We removed a wall that divided the previous family room to provide more light and make for a less awkward layout. The new layout allowed for a larger, more formal dining room. Everything in the back portion of the house got an update, including new HVAC, windows, flooring, and of course a new kitchen, dining room, and all the furnishing.
