Reimagining one room can make all the difference in the world. A dining room that was once dark and underused became the bright and modern space this family wanted to show off. Read on to see how Elliot Interiors transformed this dining room into a warm and timeless gathering place.

From the designer… My client brought me in to help reimagine her home in advance of her daughter’s wedding. The house was very dark and hadn’t been updated since it was built. The dining room is seen from the street and she wanted a space that would stop people in their tracks when they walked by. We brightened up the entire home and updated some other main spaces but the dining room had the biggest impact. We kept it simple with white walls to really let the size of the room have an impact and leaned into earthy masculine tones to offset some of the most traditional and feminine pieces.
