If you asked me, what do you love most about what you do? I’d answer without hesitation: watching lifestyle creatives come together to create pure beauty, make their visions come to life, support one another and cheer each other on every step of the way. It’s pretty powerful and something you might not be thinking about when you scroll Pinterest and spot a gorgeous laundry room or dinner party inspiration. We are here to share that connection and serve up the end result to inspire, with the creatives and boss babes who stand behind what it means to create beautiful moments in your everyday life.
Today, we’re celebrating that with a lovely home designed by Lexi Westergard Design. The best part? Lexi was nominated to join The List by another one of our creatives—the incredibly talented Anastasia of The Identité Collective—who recently designed and launched Lexi’s brand new stunning website. Anastasia is letting us in on their experience working together to create an online space to showcase Lexi’s work beautifully.
About the home… This home, located in the prominent Phoenix neighborhood of Arcadia, was a full renovation. When the client purchased this home, they took it down to the studs and remodeled it entirely. Lexi and team were able to be part of the process from the start, beginning with selecting all of the hard surfaces for the home. This project is ongoing, as Lexi and her client are in the final stages of furnishing the home room-by-room.
From Anastasia of The Identité Collective… To me, Lexi Westergard Design has always been the epitome of sophistication, inspiration, and grace. Like many interior designers and lifestyle creatives, her previous website had been designed and developed by a family member. While it had served her well for many years, she was ready to lean into her target market and elevate her digital experience. When she first reached out to us to update her branding and web design, we knew just what to do. Lexi’s expertise in new construction and full remodel projects needed to be the focus of her new website. We wanted every to position Lexi and her team as the high-end, full service interior design firm they are.
I knew immediately the direction I wanted to take her new branding. Something timeless, feminine and inspired by the spaces she designs. The custom floral mark we created was pulled from traditional block printing – often used in home textiles today. The modern sans-serif font had nods to a bygone era, but finished in a very modern way. The color palette is refined and subtle, allowing her incredible interior designs to shine.
Showcasing her portfolio was key while planning her website experience. We opted for a static menu, always available for the easiest navigation possible. Each portfolio page seamlessly links to the next, allowing potential clients to quickly browse her scope of work. Together with our copywriter, we crafted beautiful descriptions of each project and built in custom search engine optimization to help Lexi’s work appear in web searches.
Finally, we wanted Lexi’s years of experience to tell a complete story. With the addition of her design process spelled out step-by-step, prospective clients are instantly provided the reassurance that Lexi Westergard Design is the right match for their home. Clear call to actions, a thorough design inquiry form and strategic content position the new Lexi Westergard Design as the leader in the industry that she is.
