Sara is a contemporary abstract artist and full-time creative director based in Portland, Oregon. After graduating with a degree in photography, she spent the first decade of her career working in branding and marketing before prioritizing her passion for painting and curating objects.
Painting primarily with oil, her abstract work is layered, soulful, and enigmatic – an allegory of emotion and atmosphere – and she approaches each piece with a textured style, working in the dark colors evocative of the rainy Pacific Northwest she calls home.
