Manor Designs has breathed new life into this historic abode, promising a haven of comfort and elegance for generations to come. From a modest 1930s dwelling, they’ve fashioned a sprawling 4,100 square foot masterpiece, seamlessly blending vintage charm with contemporary luxury. Delve into the transformation below captured by photographer, Mary Craven.
From the designer… For our firms second house flip, we turned a 1930’s 2,000 square feet house into a luxury 4,100 square foot home with five bedrooms, five and a half baths, laundry room, mudroom, and absolutely dreamy scullery. We doubled the footprint and attached the two-car garage while maintaining the original face of the house by building back with the footprint. It’s one of those houses that just keep going once you are inside.
We took the exterior charm and brought it inside with the updates and leaned into that style with our design selections: wallpaper, brass spindles, and beautiful paint colors. This home is completely upgraded but feels like it has been here all along and will be here for years to come.
