The Home Industry's Top Experts & Creatives

This brand refresh proves it’s never too late for a new look. With the goal of a beautiful and easy to navigate website in mind, Asteria Studio pulled dulcet tones directly from Elizabeth Rose Home‘s work and even gave a little nod to her previous logo. See how Lizzie pulled this winsome branding design together and view some of Elizabeth’s work, photographed by Robin Subar, below!

From the Brand Designer… Elizabeth Rose Home has been creating interior transformations in Chicago’s North Shore and surrounding areas since 2004. After nearly two decades of business, Elizabeth felt it was time for a brand identity and web presence that matched her upscale yet effortless style and clientele.

We started with a comprehensive brand strategy that dug deep into ERH’s target audience, industry peers, and ethos. Elizabeth’s mission is to always get to the heart of her client’s style and help them create a home and environment that reflects their lifestyle and personality – not just helping people keep up with the trends. Overall, Elizabeth’s goal for her branding was to speak to the legacy and history of her business while appealing to a younger generation of homeowners.

For her visual brand, we began with a color palette of muted, earthy tones that were pulled directly from images and selections of Elizabeth’s work. For the main logo mark, we landed on a unique typeface that was somewhere between a serif and a sans-serif. It was the perfect combination of classic and modern, with a nod to the traditional style without leaning into the all caps sans-serif fonts that are popular among her industry peers. For the alternate marks and icons, we created a lot of options that use her initials creatively.

The goal of her new website was to showcase Elizabeth’s work in a beautiful and easy to navigate way, as well as make it easy for new prospects to inquire about her services and get to know more about the process. Overall, ERH’s new brand suite is a perfect encapsulation of her signature “classic yet on-trend” style that will appeal to established and new homeowners alike.
