From the designer… My client is a young family that has been slowly working their way through updating their Prairie Village home. Their kitchen was previously cramped, off to one side of the room, and we opened it up significantly expanding it from a small gallery to a large room with dining tucked along the back side. My client loves colorful, global inspired style but also wanted to stay classic for the more permanent finishes in her kitchen. We combined modern white oak cabinets with an updated shaker profile, zellige tile in both sold white and with a slight pattern at the bar, and a statement making steel blue range.
