Today’s home tour is the definition of east coast meets west coast; the best kind of design marriage. “We love designing homes in the Southbay. For our new client we helped create the design and feel of this 4,000 square foot ground-up home,” explains Linda Hayslett, Founder and Principal Designer at LH.Designs. “Keeping lifestyle in mind, we incorporated warmth, layers, and smart material choices to make the house become the dream home for a buyer,” she remarks.

Creating another modern day Cape Cod with it’s own unique look was something Linda and her team were conscious about. “We helped create plans that would make the house stand out in a competitive market by incorporating functional layouts and storage for the kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bath home. We also picked high-end finishes and products that gives more character and hints at some traditional styles to give a welcome home feeling,” she said.

Additionally, she explains: “The color palette for both the exterior and interior was inspired by more traditional Cape Cod homes from the East Coast. The furniture paired with the open layout, made this project a success for the developer and new home owner.”
