Thorpe Concepts redesigned this Ontario kitchen with a focus on maximizing natural light and creating a dramatic yet welcoming space. Warm grey tones balance contrasting wood tones and sleek millwork in this gently masculine and moody kitchen. Young Glass photography captured the transformation below.

From the designer… In this kitchen we brought in a warm grey tones that harmoniously complement a darker oak island and lighter hardwood flooring, creating a cohesive aesthetic that is further enhanced by warm limestone-like countertops and elegant bronze hardware. The entire layout of this space was altered to create an inviting layout and flood the room with natural light, facilitated by the addition of a double-wide patio door and strategically placed windows. A striking dark-toned bar area adds a high-contrast focal point, enriching the overall design with sophistication and visual intrigue.
