When Watson Builders and Realtor & Designer team, Steve & Ceci Watts, teamed up to do a complete interior and exterior remodel on this Palos Verdes home, a ‘coastal plantation’ vibe was the goal. “Steve Watts is a very well-known realtor and philanthropist in the community. His wife Ceci Watts is an outstanding Designer. And, I’d like to think of Watson Builder as a very high-quality builder. The three of us made up the real estate, design, and build side of this project,” Dave Watson explains.
With incredible views of Los Angeles (and a pretty cool canyon!), this space was calling to be covered in shiplap and accented with beachy blue doors. The cabinets were custom built, all of the fixtures were “Circa Lighting”, with most of the lighting being purchased from Restoration Hardware. All of the interior doors are solid panel shaker style units with oil rub bronzed hardware by Baldwin. Interior trim work was completed by the lead carpenter at Watson Builder and Windsor One trim and moldings were used in multiple areas,” says Watson.
