I am an impressionist and abstract artist. I want to paint paintings that feel like memories. As if you’ve been to that place, you’ve felt that sun on your face, or that breeze through the meadow. As if in each abstract layer, you hear the echoes of a love song, or see the stains of tears cried over a hand-written letter.
I want to paint paintings that stir emotions and welcome nostalgia. Because art should remind you of your most special memories, emotions, and dreams. For me, art is a page in a love story.
I paint from my home studio, just south of Austin, Texas, where I live with my husband, Thaddeus, and children, Lily and Moses.
