I believe I bring a unique perspective to the table, because I’ve worn so many hats. I began my professional life as a Registered Dietitian working in medical sales, and then earned a Juris Doctorate. A life-changing move overseas with my young family directed my focus on design. I found my calling. After moving back to the United States, I earned a Certificate in Interior Decorating, and opened my boutique interior design firm, Alison Giese Interiors.

The aesthetic I bring to AGI is greatly influenced by my travels and experiences. From shopping trips to the Mexican artisan markets as a college student, to studying in Europe, to living in Brazil, my background has cultivated my ability to create a sense of place, with unique and worldly elements.

I love working with motivated and trusting clients to design a home that reflects their story. My work harmonizes clients’ treasures with carefully selected pieces that create a balance between old and new, form and function. I truly delight in design, and I try to bring a contagious enthusiasm to all my projects, large and small.
