Just because a bathroom is small doesn’t mean it can’t be stylish. And that’s all too true in this gorgeous farmhouse-inspired design. Tiffany Leigh adeptly implemented clever space-saving hacks that lend both beauty and functionality to this family-friendly bathroom. Grab your rubber duckie and take a peek at the beautiful photos snapped by photographer, Patrick Biller.

The homeowner (Julianne) has a well-established career in the space as a fashion consultant and personal stylist and is Tiffany’s personal stylist as well. The two grew up in the same small town area, are the same age, and both reconnected later in life living in Toronto while pursuing their entrepreneurial goals in related fields. In turn, Julianne hired Tiffany to help with her family bath, and Tiffany hired her to help with her wardrobe to create a consistent image that’s on-brand for her interior design company – the perfect example of women supporting women!

In this space, Tiffany implemented a wide variety of small-space hacks including building hair appliance holders into the drawers so there aren’t dangling cords for the baby to grab. Additionally, she added a vintage stool so mom or dad have a perch to sit on while bathing the baby and she also decided to go with a shower curtain instead of a glass tub door for ease of bathing. Furthermore, Tiffany went with a marble-look quartz countertop rather than natural stone for more durability for kids and family life, and added an open shelf with baskets to the bottom of the vanity for all the bath toys.  A favourite feature are the medicine cabinets cleverly concealed behind pieces of art on the wall – you would never know they are there! The ultimate goal here was to achieve a functional family bath that is still stylish and sophisticated!
